Chris Covins was an individual - unique in his commitment to the needs of others, in his perspective on life and in his extraordinary gift for both the written and illustrative arts.

Above all he was a doting father, who offered inspiration, friendship and love to his two sons, for whom he wrote Coconia.

Sadly he never saw his stories published, but it would have been totally in keeping with his open and generous nature to share them freely with others.
